Good News! Organically Grown Wines!

ChileThe following Chilean wines, found in our KenRidge™ Showcase collection, are completely organically produced. Their vines are grown without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides of any kind. We have sampled both of these wines and found them to be full-flavoured and robust. They are sure to please the most discerning tastes, as well as ensure those vintners who have expressed an interest that they are getting the best of organically grown wines.

Huge influencing factors including the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountain Range provide an ideal climate for growing premium grapes. Low humidity, lots of sunshine, and deep, rich soils produce healthy, full-flavoured grapes.

Chilean Chardonnay *** - This Chilean Chardonnay is typical of this wine region with its medium-bodied character and lots of fruit. Fresh aromas and flavours of ripe melon and pear are balanced by delicate acidity and accented with a subtle hint of oak. Enjoy this wine young or if you prefer age for several months. A perfect pairing for succulent seafood dishes like lobster and grilled shrimp. Includes premium American regular and toasted oak.

Chilean Merlot *** - A wonderfully soft, round wine with slightly sweet black berry fruit aromas and flavours. This wine has a lush rich texture and is nicely balanced. A great sipping wine that matches well with roasts and prime rib cooked to perfection. Includes premium American toasted oak.

Neocork - Advancing the Art of Winemaking

Neocork The final crucial step in the process of winemaking is the sealing of the bottle. Neocork preserves the cherished traditions of wine ceremony, while eliminating other concerns that winemakers have endured for years, including taint, oxidation, and leakage.

Neocork delivers excellent performance without compromise. It has a clean, natural appearance, minimal taste and odor, and creates a perfect instant seal with no leaking. Easily extracted with a standard corkscrew, Neocork always comes out in one piece without any crumbs, chips or embarrassment.

Neocork base materials are made from engineered polymers. The FDA-approved materials are free of impurities and do not support microbial growth.

Neocork is used by hundreds of wineries around the world. Now you, too, can advance your art of winemaking.

Vineco's Award Winning Wines!

"WineMaker Magazine" hosted their Second Annual International Amateur Wine Competition at the beautiful Equinox Resort in Manchester, Vermont, U.S.A. on December 6th and 7th, 2003. This year’s competition included 1,499 entries from 4 countries including wines from 41 U.S. states and 8 Canadian provinces. That’s almost double the entries from last year, making it North America’s largest amateur wine competition! Wines made from fresh grapes and wines made from wine kits were competing against each other in 50 different categories. The judges used a 20-point rating scale developed by UC-Davis to evaluate each wine. Below, you will find all of Vineco’s Medal Winners from this year’s competition. Congratulations to all!
